Privacy Policy
What we collect through this website, what we never collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
Effective date October 11, 2026. We will update this policy as new features launch, and the date here changes when we do.
Who we are
EZ Financial Fitness, LLC (EZ Financial Fitness) is a tax preparation, bookkeeping and tax-strategy firm based in metro Atlanta, Georgia, serving clients virtually. This policy covers the website at ezfinancialfitness.com. Questions about it go to dahliad@ezfinancialfitness.com.
What we collect on the website
Right now the site has no forms. The contact form, the Financial Fitness Checkup, the newsletter, the free checklists and the digital products described below are coming soon, and this policy already covers them. Until they launch, the site collects only what a web server records by default, and you reach us by email.
We collect only what you type into a form or what a web server records by default.
- Contact form. Your name, email, phone if you give it, whether you are an individual or a business owner, what you need and your message.
- Financial Fitness Checkup. Your answers to the business-profile questions, the scores and recommendation we calculate from them, your name and email if you ask for the results, and whether you also asked for the newsletter.
- Newsletter and free checklists. Your email and first name, and the confirmation that you clicked the link we sent.
- Digital product purchases. Buyer name, email, the product bought and a transaction reference. Payment details are collected by Intuit on its checkout page. We never see or store card or bank numbers.
- Download re-send requests. The email address you enter.
- Server logs and events. The pages requested, the time, the browser type and an IP address that we hash before storing. Our own event log records actions like a button click or an article being read, with no personal identifiers.
What we never collect through the website
Tax documents, Social Security numbers, bank account numbers and card numbers. Our forms do not accept attachments, and the contact form rejects anything that looks like a Social Security number. If you are a client, documents go through the secure Client Portal, never through this website or by email.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry or schedule a consultation.
- To deliver a digital product you bought and to re-send a link if you ask.
- To send the Checkup results or the free checklist you requested.
- To send the newsletter, only after you opt in and confirm.
- To keep the site working, protect it from abuse and understand which pages are useful, in aggregate.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers
These companies process information on our behalf, under their own privacy terms, only to provide the service named.
- Cloudflare. website hosting, form protection (Turnstile), Web Analytics and transactional email delivery.
- Zapier. automation that moves form submissions and orders between the systems below.
- TaxDome. client records and the Client Portal.
- Mailchimp. the newsletter and the free checklist emails.
- Intuit QuickBooks Payments. checkout for digital products.
- Calendly. scheduling consultations.
- Google Workspace. email.
Form protection and analytics
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from abuse. Turnstile may collect device and browser information as described in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites, and our own first-party event logging, which stores no personal identifiers. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Email consent
The newsletter and the free checklists use double opt-in. You enter your email, we send one confirmation message, and nothing else goes out until you click its link. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and one click ends it. Transactional messages, such as a purchase receipt, a download link or Checkup results, are sent because you requested them and do not add you to the newsletter.
How long we keep it
The periods below are proposed and will be confirmed before launch.
- Inquiries, Checkup submissions and signups. 24 months from the last contact, then anonymized.
- Digital product orders. Seven years, because they are bookkeeping records of the firm.
- Analytics events. 13 months, then deleted.
Client records are kept under the retention rules in your engagement letter, not this policy.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what information we hold about you from the website, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email dahliad@ezfinancialfitness.com from the address you used with us, and we will confirm within one business day and complete the request as soon as we reasonably can. Some records, such as orders, must be kept for the period above even after a deletion request, and we will tell you which ones.
We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that point. Georgia residents and residents of other states have the same choices described here.
Client information
If you become a client, the information you share in the Client Portal is governed by your engagement letter and the portal's own terms. Tax return information is used only to prepare and file your return, as federal law requires. Our Disclaimer carries the full statement.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Forms are protected by Turnstile, validated on the server, rate limited and never accept attachments. Order download links expire and are limited in the number of times they can be used. No system is perfectly secure, which is one more reason sensitive documents belong in the Client Portal and not in a website form.
Children
This website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes are noted on this page for 30 days. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
